La Piedra Beach - Aviv

Updated: Jan 2

Time: 15 minutes

This is a beach on the Espolón River, very easy to reach, it will take very little time to get there. As soon as we leave the hostel we have to walk south, that is, go down Sargento Aldea street, straight to the end. Once we have reached the end of the street, we have to continue going down to the right, walking along the path on the left.

When you see this sign, keep walking

When you pass by the Puerto Espolón camping sign, keep walking and you will then find a passage to the left, we have to continue this way.

This beach is divided into two parts by a large rock formation, which is why locals know it as "stone beach".

If we continue towards the bottom of this route we will reach the first part of the beach, however, it is very small; The widest part is found when following the path on the left, that is, when entering the passage for the first time, we will not walk to the bottom, but rather we will take the first detour to the left, and from there go down to the other section from the river bank.

You can go through the fence of the right very carefully, it's a private place, but is the only way of getting to this part of the beach, and the river bank is public.

Enjoy.
